Locked 50:50 Distribution

Mechanically locks front and rear driveshafts together. Essential for soft terrain to maintain constant rotational momentum.

Low Range 4WD

Torque Multiplication Logic

Engages planetary gear reduction for maximum low-speed power. Essential for rock crawling and heavy recovery operations.

Ford Logic (All Models)

  • Sand Protocol: Sand Mode + 4H + Traction Control OFF.
  • Descent Protocol: Tow/Haul Mode + Engine Grade Braking Enabled.
  • Recommended Sizing: 285/70 R17 (33") for clearance.

Toyota Logic (All Models)

  • Rock Protocol: 4L + Rock Mode + Rear Diff Lock ENGAGED.
  • Mud Protocol: Mud/Sand Mode + Crawl Control (Level 3).
  • Recommended Sizing: 265/70 R17 (Stock Articulation).

Driveline Bind Alert

Using 4H or 4L on high-traction surfaces causes mechanical binding. This stress leads to gear failure and tire scrubbing.
